A change of use application has been successfully granted allowing for North Tyneside’s first micro brew pub.
The Dog & Rabbit, to be located at 36 Park View, Whitley Bay, now has all the required licences passed. With everything now in place, owners Tony & Julie hope to be open by mid June.
Interesting concept- a new take on the eighteenth and nineteenth century brewhouse pub, ubiquitous in England before the big brewers bought them up and made them tied houses, selling the breweries beer.; the wheel has turned full circle!
