CAMRA member Ryan Stones, from Caldwell, is set to bring Teesdale it’s first micropub towards the end of next month.
While hoping to open before October, he said: “I don’t own the building yet so we’re just waiting for everything to come together.
“I previously said we were hoping to open up in the middle of September but it’s looking more likely it will be nearer the end of October.
“We still have to get the furniture in and change the decor – and I’ve got to get my licence from the council yet.”
With the micro pub plans approved, Ryan is now waiting for the final touches to fall in to place before serving Teesdale a selection of real ciders & ales.
The new micropub will be open from Wednesday – Sunday and will be located at the rear of 20 Horsemarket, in Barnard Castle.
