Jen Glover, 33, has decided that it is time to leave the classroom and plans to open up her own micropub, along with her husband, Ralph. Following in her father’s footsteps who owns ‘The Copper Pottle’ in kent.
Jen said: “I’d been an English teacher for eight years and wanted to do something different.”
The couple are setting their micropub up in the Beeston area, which is to be named ‘A Pottle of Blues’, the pair decided on the name as Pottle is Jen’s maiden name while Ralph has a passion for blues music.
A Pottle of Blues is set to open in March on Stoney Street and will eventually provide live music nights to support local artists.
