Warwickshire micropub, Rugby Tap Room, only began operating just over a year ago. Since becoming Rugby’s first and currently only micropub, the business has received a warm welcome from locals and left a great impression on it’s visitors.

The pub was recently awarded with Pub of the Year 2015, awarded by members of the local CAMRA group. Along with this achievement, the Rugby Tap has also been featured in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for 2015 & again for 2016.

Owner of the micropub, Colin, said:

“To win this prestigious award in such a great beer town a year after opening Rugby’s only Micropub is amazing.

“To achieve this is a very proud day for us all.”

While The Rugby Tap Room has only been operating for the past year, just next door the Rugby Tap has been open since 2012, serving as a bottle shop, allowing customers to enjoy real ale from the comfort of their home.

Both the bottleshop and micropub are open from 10am-6pm Mon-thurs, with the micropub closing at 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and open from noon to 3pm on a Sunday.
