Derek Miles previously submitted a planning application to Stroud District Council to open the towns first micropub, creating a quiet drinking experience in the centre of the town.

Derek’s plans have now been approved, allowing him to convert the former salon at 21 George Street. The application received great support from the locals, with no objections to the new micropub.

Mr.Miles will be opening the micropub along with owner of Clearwater brewery & old friend, Barry Raynes. The pair are currently hard at work converting the building and hope to be open in the coming months.

The micropub will serve bottled craft beers and ciders and will have enough space for roughly 50 people.
