Like a phoenix from the flames a new micropub ‘The Northern Seaman’ is set to open after the sad news that the nearby Livingstone Arms which closed in 2013 is set to make way for flats.
It will be opening this July at 378 High Street and it is a perfect example of how micro pubs are stepping in and reinvigorating the surrounding community offering live music, games nights, quizzes, and even debates.
