This is all about encouraging the dying art of holding a pleasent conversation between friends and strangers ( who hopefully become friends )… reading a paper or a book – perhaps playing a few old fashioned table games etc… and of course encouraging the craft of real ales – ciders – locally produced soft drinks and we will be supplying a decent cup of tea or coffee. We will also supply some munchies. We ask all of our customers observe our code of conduct… It’s very simple to understand…NO MOBILE PHONES – turn them onto silent BEFORE coming onto the property – Limit your phubbing !!!! Those of you who ignore this rule will be pointed toward the charity box – Our regulars all know what to do if someones phone goes off – If you fail to see the funny side – or refuse to accept this code – you will be asked to leave!!! so a sense of humour is a MUST
