A public restroom that was closed to members of the public back in 2000, and used by customers of the nearby barber shop until 2010, located in the viaduct arch under New Road, in Chatham, is set to soon be transformed into a micro pub after the application was recently approved.

Applicant Clive Puddy said in his application that the building will be: “tastefully refurbished and managed for the local community and visitors alike”. Clive hopes to open the micropub seven days a week from 11am-11pm
