The Heritage micropub in Sheppey has joined forces with the Mad Cat Brewery and the Spitalfield Trust to create a 4% amber bitter to help restore the Sheerness Dockyard Church. The new ale is to be called Heritage Dockyard Church Ale and 30p from the sale of every pint will go into the project fund to convert the site which was damaged by fire in 2001 into both a facility for the community and business units.
