Beerhouse – previously a pop-up event pub has now officially opened and is the first micropub within the Harborough District. Co-founders Jon Pollard and Ivan Sheldrake held three pop-up events since October, but fully opened Beerhouse on December 5th 2014 as they were granted a premises licence by the local Council.

Located at a former shop premises at 76 St Mary’s Road, the pub provides “a place for a drink and a chat, and it’s a social hub” co-founder Jon explains.

“On any day, we’ll have at least eight beers ready to go, straight from the cask. It will be like a permanent beer festival for Harborough! And we’ll also have bottled beers from all round the world, wine, cider and soft drinks.”

The micropub will be open from midday to 11 pm Wed-Sat and midday – 6 pm on Sundays.

Co-founder Jon Pollard described the experience as a dream come true and that he’s delighted, calling Beerhouse “a place for a drink and a chat, and it’s a social hub”.
