Tim Arnold, along with his wife and two sons, opened the second micropub in Hinckley’s ‘The Crescent’, which is a £60 million retail development space. The first micropub in the area was The Pestle and Mortar micropub which opened last year at the top of Castle Street.

Since opening at the end of 2015, Tim said: “So far we have had a really positive response. The weekend was busy which was pleasing. We have done a few snagging works and the place is still not completely finished but it’s pretty much there.”

The Elbow Room contains 12 different real ale casks, which will be regularly changed along with various ciders available.

In the future, Tim plans to put on acoustic events at the venue and offer punters ‘bar snacks’ such as pork pies, crisps and nuts.
