Last week (7/7/2016), Derby City Council approved the application to convert the premises in Littleover into Derby’s third micro pub, despite letters of objection and a 22 signature petition.
Councillor, Shiraz Khan didn’t agree that the micro pub will generate the noise issues some locals feared, he said: “It’s a district centre and bearing in mind the type of business proposed I don’t think it’s a problem. The maximum capacity they were looking at was 30 people and there’s no music or beer garden so I don’t don’t think noise is going to be too much of an issue.”
