Our ale house is Derbyshire’s first micropub. Originally a butchers shop, we have transformed it into a cosy and friendly place to enjoy a drink and a chat with friends and total strangers. The bar is an old Methodist chapel pulpit and from here we serve our own beers brewed 30 yards away plus up to 6 guest ales, most of which are rarely seen in Derbyshire. 3 real ciders and a selection of wine are also available. Very often we have musicians turn up for an impromptu acoustic session.
