Bernadette Lawley along with her son, James, plan to bring high quality real ale to the heart of Heanor in the coming weeks.

‘The Redemption Alehouse’ is set to open on Ray Street, Heanor, roughly in a months time. The opening will see the second micropub in the area, with ‘Marlpool Brewery Alehouse‘ roughly a 15-20 minute walk away.

Bernadette said: “The focus is on providing a wide variety of real ale and ciders, all served in optimum condition.

“We’ll have a purpose-built cool room to ensure beer is stored and dispensed in perfect condition. The main selling point is the quality of the beer and we’re lucky to have help from some of the best people in the industry.”

Along with quality real ale, Bernadette and her son want to bring the community together and encourage conversation between locals.

The Redemption alehouse will have several different real ales to offer, along with ciders and a variety of bottled beers. We look forward to hearing more information closer to the opening.
