Local residents of Baker Street may soon receive an even wider range of micropub drinking holes as work has already started at 10 Baker Street, converting the former shop “Sugar Cubes” into a new micropub.
The application was submitted to the Middlesbrough Council and proposes that the pub shall only operate as a ground-floor bar with entertainment being limited to low level music, along with solo acoustic sessions on Saturday nights between 8pm – 10pm.
Baker Street is already the home of two other micropubs that have seen great success, just across the road from the proposed site you’ll find Sherlocks, while just down the road you can find The Twisted lip.
Along with the pubs located on Baker Street, take a short walk and you can also visit the Devil’s Advocate and Infant Hercules.
If the application is successful, the proposed hours will be from 11am until 11pm, Monday – Sunday.
